The owners of this Subiaco terrace wanted to create a private, functional outdoor room in a compact space. We designed a solution centred around a custom timber deck and screening, which adds warmth and conceals neighbouring properties. Clever use of large-format paving and raised planters gives the illusion of a larger area, while a professionally installed lighting plan transforms it into a welcoming retreat for evening entertaining. This project solves the challenge of limited space, creating an essential connection between the home’s interior and a new, usable alfresco zone.
